Richard writes both electronic and acoustic music - often combining the two. With a strong interest in both melody and rhythm, Richard frequently collaborates with outstanding musicians and videographers, to produce music and inter-disciplinary performances with a unique and compelling character. He also plays bass guitar with folk trio, Alkevan.

Richard’s music has been performed at and by BBC, ITV, Channels 4 and 5, Young Vic, Southbank Centre, Albert Hall and is published by Boost Music, Funky Junkies and Music Neo. Over the years he has also worked with the X-Factor and has contributed music to TV shows including The Crown and Bridgerton.

Richard won the Royal Television Society’s Best Promotional Video (2017) and has received nominations and awards at the Awareness Festival, Tallahassee Film Festival, Film Festival of Seia (Best Original Score) and Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema (Nice).

Richard has a Ph.D in composition combining electronics and acoustics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
